Happy Thanksgiving Thrifters! I just wanted to stop by and say I’m so thankful and grateful for you all! Thank you so much for supporting Thrift Out Loud and it’s mission. Thrift Out Loud is more than showcasing thrifty clothes but it’s to encourage women they can look their best and live their best life for less no matter their income. Hey Hey Thrifters! Summer is winding down and fall is around the corner! Sept 22nd to be exact. So how are you preparing to #LevelUp your fall fashion attire? Well for the first thing I did was ask myself, "Do I need this?" and"Where will I wear this?" Once I asked these 2 questions I realized I had way too many clothes. I decided to get rid of all my former threads I don't wear. I had three bags of clothes for the Goodwill. Honestly when I got all this out my place it was s
Hey hey Thrifters! I hope all is well :) I haven't posted a bog in a while. You may have seen me post on IG and Facebook on a somewhat weekly basis. And I've been blessed with opportunities to speak at nonprofits. I've been doing what I can while still trying to have a positive impact with my brand. Over the past few months or so I decided to do some reflection and find my WHY? behind why I do what I do. I originally made this blog to showcase clothes I bought for a fracti
Hey hey Thrifters! Meet my thrift friend Christen. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh (hints the name Yinzer in her name). She likes shopping and loves fashion. Her two loves collided when she faced high priced retail fashion, while trying to professionally dress herself. Her goal of this blog is to prove that it doesn't take an unlimited budget to look amazing! Her blog teaches readers thrifting "techniques," as well as how to style classic work-wear and casual looks on
Hey hey thrifters! I found this super cute pink dress at a community clothes swap I attended last year. I don’t wear pink often but when I saw it I knew I had to have it. This dress was a jersey cloth material in light pink. It also had a small white patterned printed all over it. Perfect for the summer. The best part about this dress is that it was FREE! Tip for summer clothes- When its hot out you want to wear lighter colored clothing. I wore it the Pittsburgh Three Rivers
Hey hey Thrifters! For my 27th birthday this year I brought it in by attending a 90s party :) It was hosted by Meme's Ultimate Event at Spirit in Pittsburgh. Dj Selecta was spinning 90s songs and a few early 2000 songs and Lyndsey Smith and the Soul Distribution performed 90s hits. It was so much FUN! I really enjoyed this event and I'm glade I was able to go. My outfit of the day was a mix of Le Parents Closet lol I made my way to my parents house hours before the party.
